Holland America Line Mediterranean Cruises Abound In 2020

Holland America Line’s Mediterranean cruises will showcase Nieuw Amsterdam in 2020, with the vessel spending the entire season in the region.

Nieuw Amsterdam will be joined by Zuiderdam from May through June on 12-day itineraries, to be followed by Nieuw Statendam and Veendam in September and October on cruises ranging from 10 to 14 days.

Veendam’s season spans from April through October and features European explorations from 14 to 21 days, covering a variety of regions. Highlights of the vessel’s summer travels include a European Rivers Explorer cruise to the Scheldt River, Gironde Estuary and Tagus River; the “Holy Land” itinerary to Greece, Croatia, Turkey and Israel; and cruises to Spitsbergen, Norway and Iceland.
