Silversea Launches Antarctica Bridge

Silversea’s recently launched Antarctica Bridge pairs innovation with the luxury for which the cruise line has long been noted. The Antarctica Bridge is a fly-cruise service for the White Continent, with direct flights from Chile’s Punta Arenas to King George Island in Antarctica.

Guests will fly over the Drake Passage on a private plane exclusively reserved for Silversea passengers. The flight is hosted by Silversea representatives and offers travellers business-class comfort, with the flight taking just two hours each way. A bespoke in-flight entertainment program includes Zodiac and IAATO briefings and will be tailored entirely for Antarctic expeditions to prepare guests for their upcoming unique adventure. Travellers will experience five full days—the same amount of time as on Silversea’s traditional Antarctica voyages—travelling deep into the continent, accompanied by Silversea’s team of Expedition Experts.
