Princess Cruises has partnered with Caymus Vineyards – an iconic winemaker from California’s Napa Valley – in pairing a five-course menu with the finest of wines.

The wines that will be served include Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Caymus-Suisun “The Walking Fool” red blend, Sea Sun Pinot Noir, Mer Soleil Reserve Chardonnay, and Emmolo Sparkling. The Princess culinary offerings will include an array of appetizers, followed by a first course of fresh summer black truffle risotto; main course options to include Tournedos Rossini, or seared king salmon and giant prawns; and a cheese selection and chocolate raspberry dessert that feature a dark chocolate cornflake crisp. Each delectable offering is paired with one of the vineyard’s wines.

Dinners will be held at Princess’ Crown Grill restaurant, for a fee of $140 per person.  Up to 12 guests can be accommodated per seating. The dinner will be offered two to three times per cruise, with reservations booked once onboard.

This “winemaker’s dinner” will be offered towards end of April on all Princess vessels sailing North American itineraries, including Alaskan voyages. All Princess ships will feature the dinner pairing by late May.
