Cruises-N-More, Purveyors of Fine & Exotic Travel Since 1988, Presents an Inside Look at World Cruises
ORLANDO, Fla. (July 16, 2014) – If you are considering a World Cruise, or a segment of a world cruise, this may help with your decision making process. Cruises-N-More has some helpful and interesting advice for making a World Cruise truly the trip of a lifetime. Not only are they specialists in World Cruises, they have enjoyed two full world voyages and are already booked for two more World Cruises – 2015 Crystal Cruises and 2016 Silversea.
- The Itinerary Really Matters – Especially if this is not your first World Cruise. This is the main reason we love the Crystal Cruises itinerary for 2015. This cruise is currently sold out. The itinerary is very compelling. Departs Miami, with several days at sea in the Caribbean, then a Panama Canal transit, on to South America, Eastern Island, the South Pacific and several islands in New Zealand, the Tasman Sea and Melbourne, Australia. Next visits France, South Africa, more South America, back to the Caribbean and ends in Miami.
- The Most Interesting Destination – The cultural heritage of Myanmar (commonly referred to as Burma, its historical name) is a rich one that has only recently been accessible to travelers. From a tourist perspective, the country is best known for its Buddhist temples (over 10,000 of them from the 11th to 13th centuries) of which 2,200 still survive today. Read more about fascinating destinations.
- The Unique Shopping – Of course there will be many remarkable gifts to bring home from these unusual ports of call. Shopping is always exciting as you will see many items just not the normal types of gifts. One of our favorite’s places to shop is The Peninsula Hotel.. Read more about the Peninsula Hotel.
- The Food – Best Bugs Ever! Our very favorite restaurant was in Sydney, Australia. Called Rockpool, they recently relocated from years in The Rock to Bridge Street. This little jewel will stay on our short list and will be recommended to friends for years. Read more about worldwide restaurant fare.
A Few Favorite Extra’s and Tips. The special events are always memorable. In 2014, Silversea provided for full world cruise guests an excursion to Ankor Wat, one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Stretching over some 100,000 acres, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century. These include the famous Temple of Angkor Wat and, at Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple with its countless sculptural decorations. Read more about what Silversea Does for their guests here.
