And the gifts keep coming….
Arriving back at the cabin after dinner many nights we find gifts on the bed from Crystal, especially chosen for full world cruise guests. So far we have each received Crystal logo items, including a lightweight and waterproof jacket, baseball hats, polo shirts and leather bound journals with a pen to record our adventures. We have also received magnets to hang restaurant reservation cards on the wall and a 25th Anniversary Crystal World Cruise Pin to wear to identify each other as full world cruise guests versus the passengers who are only sailing one or more segments, but not the entire 108 day world cruise. Two nights ago, we were gifted with Elemis his and her spa products in two small travel cases. Not knowing when something else will be placed in our cabin is as much fun as receiving the gifts themselves!
After a relaxing day at sea yesterday, we arrived in quaint Curaçao known as Amsterdam of the Caribbean, a port only reachable from the U.S. on 10-to14-day or longer Caribbean cruises.
Curacao, its pastel hued and gabled roofs give it a fairy tale appearance, straight out of Hans Christian Anderson!
Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao, is characterized by story-book Dutch architecture, waterfront promenades, fine shopping and a colorful floating market. Located in the southern Caribbean, just 38 miles north of Venezuela, a harmonious blend of Dutch, Caribbean, African and South American cultures makes Willemstad unique among the Caribbean ports of call.
